I have used this vessel as a liveaboard year round here in San Carlos Mexico after I sold my liveaboard sailboat. The walk on ease and sliding glass doors make this boat an excellent economical dock condo. I still enjoy being able to cruise out in to the many bays and islands here for fishing and swimming, or just watching the beautiful women here in Mexico. The close proximity of water features and amenities, doesn't make fuel consumption an issue. This small yacht being only thirty feet long and inside accommodations of many 36 foot vessels affords slip fees of only $300/mo where she is now berthed. That includes power, water, internet, parking and security. It has been a great and inexpensive way to retire early here in San Carlos, Sonora, the doorstep of the sea of Cortez.

My next adventure will be back on the Caribbean after six years here. It's better to buy another boat there than to ship this one over.

The Sea Ray 300 Sedan Bridge (called the 305 Sedan Bridge when she was introduced in 1988) is long on interior accommodations. Built on a solid fiberglass hull with propeller pockets and a wide 12-foot beam, the interior accommodations are very spacious for a boat this size. With a midcabin stateroom tucked beneath the dinette, the 300 Sedan Bridge can boast two private staterooms in addition to a roomy salon with a full-size galley. The athwartships double berth arrangement in the forward stateroom is innovative in its use of space, and the concealed galley is particularly appealing. The head is located aft in the salon, just inside the companionway door, where access from the outside is most convenient. While the cockpit is very small, the extended flybridge is exceptionally large for a boat this size. Standard 260hp MerCruiser gas engines (with V-drives) will cruise the Sea Ray 300 Sedan Bridge in the low 20s and develop a top speed of around 28–29 knots.

The galley is 11 feet long and has a double sink and two burner electric cooktop and small undercounter refrigerator. I have added a counter microwave/convection oven and icemaker. I am planning a galley upgrade with new countertop, gas cooktop, SS sink and under counter double door freezer/refrigerator and will increase price after that upgrade is finished. People remark that she looks great now, but comfort and feature are prime with any dock condo/cruiser.

The boat sports a huge forward bed in the master cabin with 24\" LED TV. The mid cabin has a large single or tight double berth. There are two 12000 btu a/c heat pumps, pressurized water system and hot water for those winter showers.

I have upgraded the radios and navigations with a Hook 9 chartplotter and Chirp depth sounder. Two VHF radios with a remote microphone from the cabin radio at helm. New instrument panels, gauges (except for hour meters) and system switches. New second digital depth sounder and log meter and marine stereo and four speaker system on the bridge deck.

The main cabin has new cushion upholstery, 32\" smart TV, new stereo system with four speaker system. Access to both 5.7 litre Mercruiser engines is easy through floor hatches.
