Abrina Nursing Home

Located in Ashfield, Abrina is a 63 bed Chinese specific nursing home. Abrina has a culturally appropriate recreational activities program and all staff speak Mandarin or Cantonese.

Built in 2000, residents enjoy large modern rooms with an Asian touch to the interior and exterior garden. Abrina nursing home also has a fully equipped Asian kitchen to prepare Asian meals for our residents.

Features include a Sensory Garden, Aromatherapy for Dementia residents, and celebration of cultural days such as Chinese New Year and the Full Moon festival. Abrina also has an active Music Therapy program that residents are encouraged to participate in.

High Care is for older people who require ongoing professional nursing and personal care.

High Care facilities are sometimes referred to as aged care nursing homes and provide 24-hour aged care nursing and other support services, such as cooking, cleaning and washing for elderly people whose care needs cannot be met in Low Care facilities.
