JOB TITLE

CIVIL / STRUCTURAL / GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERS (HONG KONG)

Our client is seeking Civil / Structural / Geotechnical Engineers to join their team, working with one of the biggest main contractors on civil, structural and geotechnical projects in Hong Kong.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To assist the Project Manager / Construction Manager in site supervision works
Manage and ensure timely completion of construction/civils/structural works
Plan and prepare program and work schedules
Responsible for all aspects of site safety
Assist in coordination and overall supervision of the team on site
Ensure the smooth project implementation and planning
Liaise with Clients, Consultants, and Subcontractors and Government Authorities
Ensure that all construction works are being met in accordance with projects specification
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Degree or higher in Civil / Structural / Geotechnical Engineering
MUST have previous experience in design submissions and design auditing
Member of HKIE (Structural or Civil) and/or MIStructE would be desirable
MUST be familiar with Building Ordinance and regulations
Knowledgeable in software programs ie, ETABS, STAAD
Ability to lead a small team, manage time and delegate tasks
Self motivated individual, forward thinking with strong communication skills
Minimum 5 years experience, those with less will be considered for Assistant Engineer positions
Fluent in Cantonese and English
