JOB TITLE

Senior Façade Engineer – ***HONG KONG

An international engineering consultancy is looking to build up the team of Façade Consultants and Engineers. Recent influx of façade work has dramatically increased rapidly in the last 12 months for the company and has opened the opportunity for a Senior Façade Engineer.

You will be joining an international company who is synonymous with iconic and complex façade projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for managing façade team
Overseeing projects from initial design stage to completion stage
Liaise with Clients, build long lasting relationships
Commercially aware, keep update on industry knowledge, projects, engineering
Proficient in structural analysis, façade design and detailing, engineering calculations, inspections and reporting.

You will have a solid background within Façade engineering and design. You will inject tenacity and ideas to complex structural issues and challenging projects from a Façade point of view. You will be technically competent in providing innovative design solutions and be able to effectively communicate ideas in verse and drawings.

With a degree in either civil / structural engineering or a relevant discipline and strong knowledge of computer analysis packages will be essential as well as being able to understand the balance of priorities on differing projects whilst developing successful relationships with other team members.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering or Architecture
Minimum 6 years Façade specific experience. Those with less experience will be considered for more junior level positions
Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese
Experience in design and construction of glass and curtain walling systems
Ability to exercise excellent time management skills and work to tight deadlines
Ability to communicate ideas, designs and solutions
Must have proficient ability to lead a team
