FINANCE MANAGER (CONSTRUCTION)

A Finance Manager for a International Main Contractor with exciting pioneering projects spanning Asia. Our client has a reputation for delivering specialist construction projects on time. With a huge importance placed on employees, they believe that their staff are at the core of their success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing accounting staff and managing team members.
• Advise the Board of Directors and attend AGM’s, Asia Executive Committee Meetings regarding financial matters.
• Devise and instigate strategies to improve the companies position financially
• Produce accurate management accounts in a timely fashion
• Provide cash budgets and annual profit
• Comply with a tax regulations and tax planning
• Provide to the Auditors accurate accounts in a timely fashion
• Work closely and co-ordinate with the Tax Advisers and Auditors
• Monitor loan schedules, and bank reconciliations whilst supervising management fees by the Finance Managers
• Where required negotiate with the financial institutions regarding accounts, loan arrangements and credit cards
• Co-ordinate the distribution of profits and dividends
• Any other matters deemed necessary by the Board of Directors

REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in Accounting and a member of a professionally recognised accounting body
• Good management and organisational skills
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting
• Must have an eye for detail and accuracy
• Must be able to think on a strategic level whilst still focusing on delivery on a daily basis for procedures and processes
• Must identify and meet deadlines
• Be a team player and have good interpersonal skills
• Proficient in spoken and written Cantonese, Putonghua and English
