Description:

This is a brand new opportunity for a Fund Dealer with a clear understanding of Collective Investment schemes and the banking system and payment processes

Responsibilities:

Daily and weekly dealing and administration of funds consisting of unclassified and regulated funds over different Jurisdictions

Processing of client subscription, redemption and switch orders including placing FX’s where necessary

Checking of redemption payment instructions

Reconciliation of the subscription and redemption bank accounts on a daily basis

Liaising with Sales department, custodian and bankers concerning all dealing matters

Daily update and monitoring of unsettled records

Regular reporting of flows to Investment Managers, Transfer Agent and Custodian

Ensure adherence to procedures and processes of the fund dealing team

Effective utilization of fund dealing and contact management systems in the production of client valuations and reports

Experience and Qualities Required:

Previous experience in a fund dealing environment or similar and ideally either studying towards or qualified IAQ or IMC or equivalent

Excellent administrative and organisational skills

Strong organisational and interpersonal skills required to process the workload on time

A working knowledge of the banking system and relevant IT applications together with a good knowledge of PC networks and Microsoft Office application

A thorough knowledge of all regulatory requirements in respect of the latest JFSC Anti-Money Laundering and Prevention of Financial Crime guidance notes

Candidates must be classified as ‘Entitled’ or ‘Entitled to Work’ under the Jersey Control of Housing & Work Law
