Our client is looking to recruit a Head of Debt and Mezzanine Fund Services

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver a strategy for the growth and maintenance of Debt and Mezzanine Fund Services

Work closely with the Business Development Team, to develop a network of meaningful contacts including prospects and influencers in order to grow the Debt and Mezzanine business

Develop and grow the Group’s Debt and Mezzanine Fund business, working with the Executive team to ensure that such growth is managed and sustainable

Work closely with the Support teams to ensure that systems and operations are developed to support the Debt and Mezzanine Fund strategy, acting as active sponsor where required and deploying resources on key initiatives to ensure success

Support the monitoring of client satisfaction for Debt and Mezzanine Fund and ensure a proactive approach is taken to any additional service opportunities or substandard service provision

Manage the requirements for a team/number of teams ensuring reporting deadlines are met, with oversight on planning, scheduling, and monitoring of workloads

Review of all aspects of Debt and Mezzanine Fund matters, incorporating investor reports, statutory financial statements and ad-hoc investor queries

Attend client board meetings and present periodic financial information

Act as highest authority on day to day queries and as 4-eyes signatory on service delivery, ensuring that company policy and professional and regulatory guidelines are adhered to and that a professional quality service is provided to clients and outside contacts

Attend and participate at quarterly jurisdictional management meetings to review WIP incurred and utilisation across teams to ensure that extra billing opportunities are identified and appropriate action taken

Lead and/or participate in new client proposals and pitches as necessary, and manage the integration of new clients into the Group’s procedures

Participate in client fee negotiations

Maintain and build client relationships and act as a higher authority client contact in the event of any issues within the client teams

Participate in regular reviews of existing client relationships to ensure client satisfaction and identify and secure new service opportunities

Manage the on-going training and development requirements of team members

Skill, knowledge, expertise:

A strong background in Debt and Mezzanine Fund services with a strong network in this field

Considerable practical administration/accounting experience, supported by a relevant professional qualification such as [ICSA/ACCA/ACA]

Sound technical professional services knowledge

Computer literacy, word processing and spread sheets skills are essential

Excellent interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts

Experience in the day to day management of a team(s)

Evidence of full responsibility for major client relationship(s)
