The Mar Menor Golf Resort was the first to be completed and is the flagship of the 6 Polaris World resorts located in the Murcia region. The resort boasts an 18 hole Jack Nicklaus designed championship golf course, a luxurious new 5* Intercontinental Hotel & Spa, a choice of 10 restaurants, a choice of bars & cafe bars, disco, supermarket, kids club, hair & beauty salon, 3 gyms, 8 padel tennis courts, floodlit tennis court, children's play parks, a bank with 24 hour cash machine, taxi rank, all year round activity programme, kiddie's discos. This apartment is immaculately furnished and has been equipped with everything you could need for a perfect, relaxing holiday.

The large open-plan lounge & dining area is a light & spacious with new modern & stylish furnishings including a large leather corner sofa and a white high gloss dining table with 6 chairs. There is a 40" LCD TV, DVD player with surround sound system, a Wii with a selection of games, UK TV channels and free wifi. The sliding patio doors lead out to the large private terrace with an outside lounge and dining area and stunning views. The terrace is South East facing, with open views over the pool, tropical gardens and golf course and benefits from direct sun until late in the day. The large wooden pergola has been fitted with sliding shades and a further extendable awning to provide as much or as little shade as required.

The spacious and stylish kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven, hob, microwave and washing machine.

The master bedroom can be configured to have one Super King size bed or 2 singles and has a double built-in wardrobe with plenty of hanging and storage space. The sliding patio doors lead directly out from the bedroom to the terrace and there is a large en-suite bathroom with twin basins, bath with shower over, WC and bidet. A hairdryer is also provided.

The second and 3rd bedrooms can be configured to either King Size or Twin rooms with double fitted wardrobes and small private Juliet balconies.

The separate shower room has an extra large walk-in shower area, wash basin, and WC.

The apartment has integral air conditioning, which provides hot and cool air as required.

The nearest communal pool is just a few steps from the apartment stairwell and all 15 pools have a children's pool and a large main pool, and are all fenced in for additional child security. The pool areas are all set amongst large open grassy gardens with palm & olive trees and an array of tropical plants.

The property is located about 10 minutes walk away from a children's play park which has slides, climbing frames, see-saws and swings. In addition there are plenty of open green areas ideal for a family game of cricket or football. If you continue a few minutes further round this road you will find another children's play park with a climbing frame, tubular slide, see saws and plenty of sand! This park overlooks 8 floodlit padel tennis courts and a brand new air-conditioned gym which is equipped with state of the art fitness equipment and a large LCD TV screen.

The apartment is also about 10 minutes walk to the Resort Town Centre and the 5* Intercontinental Hotel with both indoor and outdoor pools where you can join in with free activities such as Aquastretch and pool games in the Summer. There is also another Gym and a superb Elemis Spa which usually offers discounted rates for residents and guests.

If your game is golf then you can always book yourself tee-time at the pro shop here. There are usually discounts available for twilight rounds all year as well as reductions for midday tee-times during the summer. You can also hire clubs, equipment and buggy's and there is a driving range and practice area if you want to work on your swing or hone your putting skills before heading out on the course.

The Golf Clubhouse is a great meeting place. The stylish "Spikes Bar" has a large outdoor terrace with tables overlooking the pool, ideal for relaxing in the sun with a cold beer or a glass of wine. If you fancy lunch by the pool then they also offer a wide range of snacks and bar meals.

In the evening you can relax with a drink at the poolside bar, or in the Clover Irish bar which is situated alongside the hotel. Here you will find nightly entertainment for the whole family, such as mini discos for the kids, quiz nights and weekly live Rock Bands. You can also enjoy great food at one of the three restaurants located here. Nomad International Restaurant, Mitzu Sushi & Asian Restaurant or The Fontana Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria.

If you fancy a day at the beach or a night out in the local resort of Los Alcazares and don't want to take the car then there is also a taxi rank outside the hotel. Sometimes the hotel provides a free bus to the beach from here during July and August but this is dependant on demand. If the service is operating there will be timetables available in the town centre or the hotel lobby.

Just across the road from the hotel you will find a well stocked "Spar" supermarket which caters for all your needs. Freshly baked bread, fresh meat & dairy products, canned & dry goods, frozen food, toiletries and UK papers and magazines can all be purchased here. They even have a "bodega" offering great value wine, beer and spirits.

Next to the supermarket is the "Town Centre" which has a large communal pool with kids pool, sun loungers and changing rooms. There is also a small free to use gym, a hairdressers, and an 'honesty' library where you can find books, games and DVDs. Here you will also be able to pick up a copy of the resort's own monthly "what's on" magazine which provides details of the Kids Club and weekly activities which are available on the resort for your entertainment. Beside the communal pool you will find "El Olivo" restaurant and bar which serves a wide range or bar meals & snacks, drinks and ice creams during the day. In the evening this becomes "The Steakhouse" Restaurant which offers a great value barbecue menu which on certain nights is also accompanied by live entertainment.

"El Boulevard" is about 10 to 15 minutes walk from the Villa. This is a long promenade of shops, bars, and restaurants located just outside the resort gates. Here you will find a bank with a cash machine, a kids indoor play centre, "La Perla Negra" theme bar, "Mombasa Cafe Bar" and "Rock Circus" nightclub. In addition there is a great choice of fantastic restaurants offering a wide variety of cuisines such as Spanish, Tapas, European, Italian, Indian, Tex Mex and American. All the bars and restaurants in the Resort Town Centre and on El Boulevard are modern, stylish and family friendly.
