If you wish to smoke please use the outside screened areas for the comfort of future guests.The sliding doors leading from the family room open out to the enclosed sundeck and the beautiful kidney shaped pool that can be electrically heated at an additional cost. However, if you leave our new superior solar pool cover on the pool when it is not in use there is extra heat gain from the sun and this heat is then retained considerably. For peace of mind the sundeck has a removable pool safety fence for use whilst young children are playing on the sundeck. Palm trees, hedges and flowering bushes have been planted around the outside of the pool screen for privacy. With the sun deck and pool facing south, guests can make the most of the sunshine either relaxing by the pool or chilling out in the clear water. Local Area As Highway 192 is only a few minutes drive away there is a plethora of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, off licences, fast food outlets, banks, pharmacies and gift shops right on the doorstep. In contrast to the relaxing atmosphere of Remington, located on Highway 192 and nearby Orange Blossom Trail are fabulous shopping malls and factory outlets, entertainments such as crazy golf, helicopter tours, airboat rides, fishing trips, horseshows, flea markets, funfairs, medieval jousting and even an alligator park! Golf & Coast The villa is situated within the Remington Golf gated community. The Remington Golf Course is rated 4 Stars by Golf Digest Magazine and was voted Best New Course in 1996. The course has abundant water and generous landing areas, undulating fairways, lush greens and the holes wrap around the lakes. The club house and pro shop staff are welcoming and the reasonable pricing includes “All U Can” Practice, Play and Eat option. There are a number of other quality golf courses close by including Kissimmee Bay Country Club, Kissimmee Golf Club, Falcons Fire, MetroWest Golf Club and Royal St. Cloud Golf Links. The Atlantic coast with the Kennedy Space Centre launch pad and fabulous beaches such as Cocoa Beach is a 45 minute drive away. Just 5 minutes drive from Remington is quaint Kissimmee Old Town where you will find small shops and restaurants. You can enjoy a walk around Lake Tohopekaliga (Lake Toho to locals) and feed the birds. There is a children’s play area and barbeques for visitors use. Tours depart from the marina and there are boats and fishing tackle for hire.
