MARITIME CIVIL ENGINEER *** HONG KONG

As an Engineer do you like to act as a key player on major projects, and actually make a difference?

Our client is a leading engineering consultancy in S.E Asia & worldwide. They provide cutting edge services by delivering innovative and sustainable solution to public and private sectors across the world. They have numerous large- scale groundbreaking projects with tenders in place for some of the world’s most prestigious upcoming projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for a wide range of maritime projects which may include marina planning studies, port and multi-purpose terminal development, reclamation, dredging, harbour protection and coastal process management

- Review project requirements for technical specifications

- Provide sound advices and solutions to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet client’s requirements

- Assist in key client retention and anticipate needs of existing clients and pursue development within the portfolio

SKILLS REQUIRED

- Degree holder in Civil Engineering/ Maritime Science or related discipline with corporate membership of HKIE or equivalent
- Over 5 years working experience in maritime engineering projects with 2 years post chartered experience
- Experience in Hong Kong local projects highly preferred
- Sound knowledge of maritime modelling, wave climate and sediment transport analysis
- Experience in using finite element computer software is definitely an advantage
- Independent, proactive, responsible, detail-minded and demonstrate as a good team player
- Able to work in a fast pace environment and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office with experience in using finite element computer software is definitely an advantage
- Excellent command of spoken and written in English and Chinese
- Immediate available highly preferred
