The interior is currently all at one level, with access to a lower level where the mill wheel gearing entered the building and the main mass of the machinery was housed. It would be perfectly feasible to reinstate a turning mill wheel if desired, as the original mill races and leats have been restored and maintained across the entire site. Each floor, once restored, will produce 160m2 of habitable space, thus creating a large and comfortable family home.
