The Alexander is a superb and very spacious apartment and has unbeatable views across the Monastery Gardens and directly northwards up Loch Ness. Furnished to an extremely high standard the apartment lies partly in the newly built extension to the original Abbey Church building and partly within the original Pugin designed church. It is found on the ground floor and is accessed from the gothic Cloisters and then through the large Atrium. The apartment comes with its own private terrace, facing towards the Loch, where you can enjoy 'al fresco' meals under a highland sky. The apartment has the benefit of being within the converted Abbey Church.

The Alexander sleeps up to 6 people (there is a sofa bed in the lounge). Free WiFi is available in The Alexander. Upon entering the apartment the inviting hallway leads to the large well appointed sitting room containing two sofas, large wall-mounted flat screen TV, Blu-ray player and a small dining table with four chairs. This beautifully furnished room benefits from wonderful views over the lawns towards Loch Ness. The Alexander apartment is decorated and furnished to a very high standard and is extremely well equipped. The master suite has a traditional Scottish country feel with views towards Loch Ness and a large en-suite containing both a bath and a walk in shower cubicle. The bedroom consists of a king-size bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and flat screen TV. The second bedroom has twin beds and a drawer unit and also benefits from views over the Loch. The family bathroom off the main hallway is spacious and with some relaxing touches. Off the hallway is a small study area with local maps pinned to a pin board and local information leaflets - perfect for planning your day's adventure. A short corridor leads to a very spacious open plan modern kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has granite work surfaces and is fully fitted with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer and a full compliment of high quality kitchen equipment and utensils. This room lies within the original church and has elevated views over the Atrium where you can get great views of the gothic timber hammer head beams in the ceiling above. The Abbey Church is linked to the rest of the development and its facilities by the gothic arches and gargoyles of the central cloister (formerly the Fort's parade ground). High quality towels and bedding are provided. Free Wi-Fi is also available in The Club Lounge.
