Our client is looking to recruit a Fund Administrator who will be primarily responsible for all aspects of day-to-day administration for one or more assigned funds.
Key Responsibilities:
Being the primary point of contact on day-to-day administration matters for a group of real estate clients
Convening, attending and preparing minutes for board meetings
Liaising with client contacts, lawyers, auditors and investors
Dealing with all company secretarial matters for client corporate entities
Dealing with all administrative matters for Jersey property unit trusts and limited partnerships, including but not limited to:
Processing telephone, fax and emailed client and investor queries
Processing paperwork for investor and transaction related activity
Maintaining fund registers and files
Processing distributions and capital calls
Preparing and distributing investor statements and related client reports
Reporting of fund transactions to fund accountants
Reconciling cash accounts
Supervising payment processing
Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering procedures and associated Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
Essential skills / experience:
Strong academic background (Degree qualified)
Team player with positive attitude
Excellent communication skills – ability to liaise effectively with clients and investors
Accurate and methodical
Good judgement and decision making skills
Organised, flexible and keen to learn
Able to work independently, under pressure and to deadlines
Competent user of IT
Desirable skills / experience:
Technical knowledge of Funds and financial services legislation and regulations
Payments experience
