Planning Engineers *** Hong Kong

An international leader in Asia’s construction industry is seeking for Planning Engineers. Their current projects today include civil, build and large-scale infrastructure, with tenders in place for some of Hong Kong’s upcoming landmark projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be accountable for all pre and post contract projects, tender planning, and providing works schedules
You will liaise with the Planning Manager, project team and Subcontractors to establish the schedule, including detailed work plans, critical activities, dates projected for completion
Provide planning support and coordinating all related duties
Identify and discuss any critical activity that needs particular attention to mitigate measures
Responsible for the execution of the project; control, review and monitor the project status
Compile reports against program base line, scenario studies and mitigation analysis
Render assistance to the Tendering Department for any planning and scheduler related function.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant degree in Building / Construction
Minimum 4 years relevant Planning working experience is required, however those with more or less years will be offered suitable role of Engineer, Senior, Manager
Proficient in planning software - Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, etc, knowledge in preparing method statements, temporary works design, large construction projects
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Good working attitude, with a high level of professionalism and integrity
Excellent project skills and time management
Preferably with experience in large-scale infrastructure projects and management
Fluency in Cantonese and English.
