Procurement Engineer

Do you have strong interpersonal skills? Do you like working in a team? Our client is looking for a motivated Procurement Engineer to add to their already talented workforce.

Our client is an Asian based EPC with over 8 offices throughout the APAC region. The Client works on various projects from Oil & Gas to Petrochemical and Pharmaceuticals. Our client is ISO14000 ISO 9000 and OHSAS certified.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Main Accountabilities
• Direct and oversee the purchasing/procurement of goods and services (technical).
• In-depth knowledge of materials, equipment, and supplies used within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Assess and consult with suppliers in regards to purchase agreements.
• Liaise with other departments.
• Working alongside subcontractors.
• Keep up-to-date with market and economic conditions affecting your prices of goods and services within the industry.

PRE-REQUISITES:

- Diploma/Degree in Engineering.
- 4 years plus experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Must have relevant market knowledge.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player.
