JOB TITLE

REGISTERED SAFETY OFFICER - Hong Kong & Macau

Our Client has been involved in many major “groundbreaking” projects in Hong Kong with a multimillion-dollar annual turn over business; they are one of the leading construction companies in Asia and are looking for Registered Safety Officers to join their team in Hong Kong and Macau.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee all Safety related tasks and duties
Monitor and inspect health and safety around the construction site
Dealing with incidents, complaints and investigations when required and ensure policies are followed
Monitor, update, and comply with new legislation of Health and Safety programs and practices
Identify, investigate and report all health and safety issues
Develop and maintain tracking system monitoring all accidents
Identify and develop accident prevention programs
Coordinate and maintain equipment, tools, vehicles and lifts meet all safety requirements.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

Degree / Diploma in Safety Management related subjects
Minimum 2 years post registration relevant experience
MUST be a Registered Safety Officer
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good understanding of Hong Kong safety regulations and practices in construction sites
Proficiency in English and Cantonese.
