JOB TITLE

Resident Engineer - (Macau Site Based)

Our Client is a leading consulting firm on all continents with established offices in the Asia Pacific region. They provide renowned services in engineering, design, planning and corporate advisory services.

Currently working on various civil and infrastructure projects in Hong Kong and projects covering the Asia Pacific region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will perform all technical duties in planning, designing and co-coordinating projects
You will oversee projects, maintenance of structures and compile reports regarding the work progress
Liaise with site Contractors, sub-contractors, inspectors, project administrators and schedule work production
Ensure that all materials and equipment used meet the required specifications
Ensure all work meet exact specifications of Client
You will be reviewing all documents and produce work reports accurately
Provide technical advice regarding the design, structures and construction
You will estimate quantities and cost of materials
Ensure and overcome problems to avoid delays on construction progress

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Degree or above in Civil / Structural Engineering or related discipline
MUST be a Chartered Member of recognized affiliation, HKIE, ICE, IStructE or equivalent
Minimum 20 years of site supervision experience at a senior level
Ideal candidate should have a good knowledge in Building Basement, Piled Foundations, and Excavation & Lateral Support
Experience of Macau is preferred but not essential
Good communication and team working skills
Have the ambition and desire to be a team leader to deliver some of the most challenging construction projects
Fluent in Cantonese, English, Mandarin is advantageous
