JOB TITLE

SENIOR ENGINEER ** HONG KONG **

CLIENT BACKGROUND

An International Main Contractor, they are one of the market leaders in Construction in Asia. Knowing to be one of the largest state-owned companies in China. They are currently working on one of the biggest project in Hong Kong that any passionate construction orientated individual would be proud to be part of.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Function as a main point of contact with clients / main contractor, architects, consultants, suppliers and sub-contractors
Responsible for submission of technical drawings, work programs and samples for client/main contractor for submission and approvals
Attend site meetings with owners/ subcontractors
Responsible for overall aspects of management of the subcontractors. Leading and managing Project/Site Engineers, Foremen, Site Supervisors & other site operatives.
Plan work schedule and delivery of equipment to site
Responsible for Monthly progress claims and Project costing
Raise material requisition for local material ordering where applicable
Responsible for all aspects of site safety

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Qualification/Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent
A minimum of 7 years experience in a Senior role, supervising for structural projects
Professional qualifications like MICE , MHKIE or equivalent
Must have a proven track record with steel Structural projects
Experience within Road & Drainage would be a distinct advantage
