JOB TITLE

SENIOR FACADE ENGINEERS/DESIGNERS (HONG KONG)

Opportunities for Façade specialist exist with an International Consultancy. Major influx of new projects in Hong Kong and East Asia will allow you to work on iconic and landmark buildings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct structural analysis
Façade design and detailing
Conduct engineering calculations
Inspections and reporting.
Occasional travel to China and Macau may be required
DETAILED You will have a solid background within Façade engineering and design. You will inject tenacity and ideas to complex structural issues and challenging projects from a Façade perspective.

With a degree in either civil/structural engineering or a relevant discipline, you will must have strong knowledge of computer analysis packages which will be essential as well as being able to understand the balance of priorities on differing projects whilst developing successful relationships with team members.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Degree in Architecture, Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5-7 years experience in Façade design
Those with MORE experience will be considered for SENIOR post
Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of BIM and other 2D / 3D softpare packages are preferred
Excellent problem solving skills and able to propose technical solutions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
