JOB TITLE

Senior Project Engineer

Are you a project engineer with gondola design experience?
Possess strong supervisory skills with ability to influence & inspire engineers?

COMPANY BACKGROUND

Our client are a global engineering business with a passion for defending the beauty and value of architectural wonders by providing external building access solutions. They provide equipment which is used to provide a permanent means of being able to access the outside façade of tall buildings for maintenance purposes, which includes cleaning and replacing panels and windows. They have grown to become the global leaders in building maintenance units, commonly referred to as BMU’s.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise project engineers as a team for gondola design & project management for projects in Hong Kong & Southern China (need to travel Macau 2-3 days per week)
Oversee site installation, & testing & commission management
Coordinate with subcontractors & liaise with clients, architects & consultants on all M& E matters for building construction projects
Coordinate & support Service & Façade Department for defect liability period works & arrangement
Coordinate with factory for problem solving with client
Provide technical support to Sales Department if necessary
Make decision & resolve problem with project engineer & site supervisor

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Structural Engineering or equivalent
At least 5 years experience in which minimum of 3 years site experience plus 2 years in supervisory position
Self motivated, mature, with strong sense of team work
Strong supervisory skills with ability to influence & inspire engineers
Good problem solving, interpersonal & coordination skills
Excellent time manage & prioritization skills
Good PC knowledge including AutoCAD & MS Office
Good command of spoken & written English, Mandarin & Cantonese
