SENIOR TBM TUNNEL MANAGER (CIVIL)

As a Senior Tunnel Manager would you like to act as a key player on major projects, and actually make a difference?

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Main Accountabilities

• Lead, organize and manage a team of Tunnel Engineers; Civil Engineers on tunneling activity
• Qualified Civil Engineer with international experiences.
• Good EPB & Slurry TBM management skills.
• TBM backup facilities and plant management, including planning, procurement, site installation, workshop management, subcontractor coordination and logistics management.
• Good knowledge and experience in selection and design of TBM and backup facilities.
• Project representative for relationships with project operating divisions, contractors, clients and consultant.
• Experience and knowledge of differing underground construction techniques including TBM bored tunnels, hand excavated tunnels, NATM and cut-and-cover works.
• Fundamental tunnel design experience including TBMs, soft ground and rock tunnels, and station caverns
• Knowledge and experience in selection and design of tunnel linings in the construction of shafts and sprayed concrete lined tunnels.
• Fundamental skills in structural engineering and geotechnical.
• Be innovative looking to develop their technical and management skills and willing to tackle any challenge.
• Familiar with the local authority requirement (LTA) and the relevant codes of Practices, statutory requirements and safety

PRE-REQUISITES:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Must have at least 20 or more years of working experience in tunneling work; TBM Tunnel Projects as a Tunnel Manager
• Practical experience and knowledge of TBM
• Must be able to perform shift work as and when required
• Preferably have work in Singapore in tunneling activity.
• Good communication skills, good team working skills.
• Highly self-motivated, good working attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity
