JOB TITLE

STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Our Client is a leading International Consultancy looking for Structural Engineers to join the team in Hong Kong.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will examine risk factors and advise on improvements of structural integrity.
Review plans, specifications and any special provisions. Investigate problems and accommodate for alternative solutions.
Analyse structural building calculations and strengths of materials.
You will attend pre-construction, pre-fabrication and progress meetings during the project assembly.
You will have strong communication skills, ability to prioritise and manage time and work schedules.
You will be working closely with Clients, Contractors and must be able to communicate succinct ideas, designs, methods, and solutions.
Coordinate all work from initial planning
You will supervise and direct the team and perform quality checks throughout the project.

DETAILED As an experienced Structural Engineer, you will be key to all structural work, advising on design, materials, installation and erection of structure. Involved in preparation of structural drawings, scheduling, compiling reports, working closely with Architects, Subcontractors and to Client specifications. Inspecting work carried out and advising on necessary improvements.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Degree in Civil/Structural engineering or related
Chartered or working towards being Chartered
RSE Registered Structural Engineer will be preferable but not a MUST
MUST have Hong Kong project experience
Possess at least 3 years post graduate experience
Candidates with less experience and/or fresh graduates will be considered for lesser roles
Experience preferably in Buildings Structures design
Immediate availability is an advantage
