Beanacre Barn is stuated high in the beautiful Mendip Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), in Somerset. On the edge of a village with views over the rolling hills, this 4 Star (English Tourist Board) holiday barn dates back to the 16th century and was originally part of Church Farm. It has been imaginatively converted, beautifully furnished and equipped by the owners. Many traditional features have been incorporated such as exposed beams, oak framed wall and old pine and flagstone floors. The accommodation is on one level with easy walking access.

The cottage has been designed to sleep two guests but also offers a high quality sofa-bed in the sitting room which can accommodate a further two guests or visitors.

This unusually spacious holiday cottage combines modern comforts and facilities with traditional style to ensure your stay is relaxing and memorable.

Positioned in a beautiful walled cottage garden, which is exclusively for your use, the south facing patio is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the garden.

This is the ideal country retreat to get away from the pressures of every day life and explore this wonderful corner of the West Country of England. Bath and Bristol are only thirteen miles away and the ancient cathedral city of Wells is just five miles, with its interesting shops and wide selection of restaurants.

The village pub serving bar food and local ale & cider is only 500 yards. Excellent restaurants and inns within 2 miles.

For reasons of safety and comfort the Barn is non-smoking. We regret we cannot cater for children under 12 years old. We cannot accept pets.
