12 bedroom Property For Sale: Florence..

Palazzo Florentia - Enchanting historic building for sale in the heart of Florence

Built in the 16th century, this 730 sq. m palazzo has been recently completely renovated under the supervision of the Italian State to ensure that modern day luxurious living standards were applied with the utmost respect for the historical value of the structure: the old terracotta bricks were restored and laid anew, not replaced. The flooring is of the finest and world famous Impruneta terracotta, meticulously finished by hand in specialized family run studious just outside Florence.

A total of 12 rooms, each with a private bathroom, are distributed amongst the 4 floors and one mezzanine. The masterfully decorated interiors are an example of the Florentine Renaissance style. All rooms are colour coordinated with lavishly rich upholstery, sumptuous sofas, fine ceramic tiles that decorate spacious bathrooms.
Each of the 3 rooms at the first floor, 3 on the second, and 4 on the third floor, all with their private bathrooms, come together to give the palazzo a sense of tranquillity and a large living space with a stone fireplace. Some rooms have parquet hard wood flooring polished to a warm shine that beautifully complements the wooden beams of the ceiling, giving the room an intimate and cosy feel. The top floor rooms are two studio apartments in their own right, with fully equipped kitchens, superb decorations, including a breathtaking 19th century fresco.

Art history and exclusive taste wherever you turn: views of the Palazzo Vecchio, the Neptune Fountain, and the Loggia dei Lanzi from all the facade windows of Palazzo Florentia.

Modern day technology in the air conditioning and security systems joins the style and form of the aristocratic living premises, where intimacy and beauty come together to form a safe haven of its own.

The palazzo's linear, elegant and almost understated facade guarantees a discreet presence in the lively piazza, full of tourists and art history pilgrims all year round. This detail makes this building an ideal and luxurious private residence in Florence: living in such a corner does not mean having to give up privacy and discretion.
