Description:

A great opportunity for a Support Engineer to join the IT team to provide extra capacity to deal with the business as usual (BAU) support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to build their career within IT and who is able to supplement the technical competence of the team. This role involves working within both Microsoft and Citrix environments.

A strong grasp of technology is required along with good communication skills.

Desired core skills for the role include:-

* Up to date 1st/2nd line IT Helpdesk experience
* Good IT experience with Windows 7 deployed in a networked environment
* Experience working in a financial services environment, knowledge of financial applications
* Ability to manage time and work autonomously
* Basic knowledge of Citrix
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills
* Good interpersonal and customer care skills
* Ability to assess each employees IT knowledge levels and support accordingly
* Exposure to Blackberry BES software and Blackberry configuration
* Strong team player able to work effectively with diverse client groups
* Good accurate records keeping
