2 Bedroom Cottage For Sale

With two character houses on the plot, this property represents exceptional value. The main house a very large bedroom and an occasional guest bedroom. The second house has a living room and bedroom upstairs, with plenty of room for the installation of a bathroom. There are lovely views of the hills from the quarter acre garden.

The main house has a large, bright living room with an open-plan kitchen and an impressive open fireplace. There is a second room which is used for storage and as a utility room. Also on the ground floor is the shower room and WC.

There is a mezzanine floor above with a large study area and there is plenty of space for a bed to accommodate guests. From here, there are very lovely views to the South and the rolling hills. The main bedroom is very large and would readily sub-divide.

The second house currently lacks a bathroom but this could be easily remedied to transform this otherwise self-contained cottage into a gîte. At present, it consists of a large ground floor room room of 30m2 and a large, double bedroom above.

In addition, there is an enclosed courtyard, a garage and a games room. The garden measures 872m2 (0.22 acres). There are local shops 4kms away at the lively small town of l'Absie.

The property is certainly in need or modernisation but it has the potential to be a beautiful home and income property.
