2 Bedroom Farm House For Sale

This quintessentially French farmhouse is in a glorious setting with far reaching views over the surrounding countryside. Within five minutes of the market town of Gorron, this two-bedroom farmhouse has a large loft that could be converted as well as a separate outbuilding.

With pretty shuttered windows, stone walls, beamed ceilings and a wood burning stove, this traditional Mayenne farmhouse has bags of charm and is in good order.

The location of the house is the best of both worlds – the convenience of being just a short drive from shops, services and a weekly market, with the peace and tranquility of a rural hamlet, with no through traffic.

The pretty market town of Gorron is known for its pretty stone houses and riverside location. The town lies in the unspoilt countryside of the Mayenne. Technically the town is situated within the Pays de la Loire region, but in many respects Gorron considers itself Norman, certainly the atmosphere and character of the town is typical of Normandy. Gorron has a good selection of shops and services as well as an excellent weekly market (Wednesdays) and a supermarket.

There is lots of potential to further expand the living accommodation by developing both the attic of the principal house as well as the detached stone house, which could potentially be converted into a gite.

Drainage is to a septic tank, which conforms to current regulations.
