2 bedroom House For Sale: 2101 Refugio..

Privacy: leave the bustle of the day behind, meander at your own pace, commute past fields of wild mustard, lemons, and avocados. Welcome home to this inner and outer place of refuge- Refugio.Relax: no need to build, wake up in bed to a spectacular 180 degrees of sunrise, and at end of day fall asleep under the skylights above the bed to shooting stars or the moon passing by. Sit on the wrap around deck and stare out across the Pacific Ocean to the Channel Islands. Watch the breathtaking sunsets, while listening to the night owls speak their language across the canyons. Use Less: besides your greenhouse and the ability to grow your own food in the fields, there is a shop for harvesting. Water your crops from your own deep well, that you alone control. Generate your own power from 50 solar panels and the 60-foot wind generator strategically located at the windiest spot on the property and receive money back from the grid. Your electric car is always ready to go since you charge it at any time with the electricity that you generate. This property uses its natural resources wisely and is a sanctuary for your family and eco-sustainability.

Live more: While there you will wonder where to put your bee hives? Where would our chickens be the happiest? Do we want to ride horses or our mountain bikes on the almost 20 acres of trail systems? Of course, say yes to both! Family and friends will find it extraordinary and self-sustaining to visit you here. And, there are spacious guesthouses and studios for them to stay already tucked into place under the oaks.

The Vibe: neighbors stop you on the road to say howdy and talk about the great surf breaks, which are just minutes away. The Chumash Indians also know this area to be a place of refuge. Historically it has been sustainable, dependable and beautiful since ancient times.

Home: This location, this canyon, this place in the world is truly one of a kind. Come to visit and listen for the whispering canyon breezes to speak to your heart too.
