Toscana Resort CastelfalfiHere in the heart of Tuscany, the estate of Castelfalfi has always been a simple, traditional paradise.Toscana Resort Castelfalfi is an 800-year old medieval hamlet lovingly being restored and developed to welcome visitors from all over the world, looking to experience an authentic Tuscan life. The project started in 2007, following a decades' long migration of its inhabitants in the sixty's when locals moved to bigger cities to find new jobs. When TUI AG, one of the biggest tour operators in Europe, purchased the property, Castelfalfi covered more than 2.700 acres of vineyards, olive groves, woods and lakes. We are an agricultural estate and an hunting reserve; we produce our own wines and extra virgin olive oil and the agricultural production is due to grow has the renovation proceeds. And this vast estate is also home to one of the most spectacular and challenging golf course in Italy, with 27 holes on 2 championship courses, and to the first of two planned hotels, La Tabaccaia, housed in an old tobacco factory.Strategically located, only 60 minutes from the Florence airport and 40 minutes from Pisa airport, Castelfalfi has recently seeing a new Renaissance. The first part of the property's development and transformation, which is now completed, focused on renovating the ancient Borgo, the village, where 3 of the main buildings have been completely restored and divided into 41 apartments of different sizes and layout. Almost 93% of the units have been sold to an international clientele, including Europeans, Americans, Canadian, South Africans and Asian, bringing back life to this 'sleeping beauty'. Every apartment is cozy and pleasant, offering large kitchens with open-space dining rooms and comfortable living rooms. Many apartments have a private garden or a roof terrace with amazing views on the Tuscan hills. To enhance your Castelfalfi experience, every apartment has been renovated with high-quality finishing such as underfloor heating and cooling system, and equipped with all modern convenience. The focal point of the Borgo is the Castle, whose grand opening will take place on June 7th. The Castle will feature a gourmet restaurant head by Michelin Star Chef Michele Rinaldi, with an amazing terrace overlooking the verdant countryside. The first floor will house rooms for weddings, meetings and events and the Rosso Toscano Cooking School, offering a wide range of classes. A pool complex, with 4 swimming pools and a small Spa with gym is located at the edge of the village and is open to guests of our hotel, and owners of our real estate units.Scattered throughout the estate are also 18 country villas available for rent or sale, the so called Casali, which will be restructured according to the requirements of future buyers, developing with them a project that matches their specific needs and expectations. The Casali were the typical country house where the families that cultivated the land of Castelfalfi used to live with the adjoining stables, barns, annexes and the typical garrets. These properties benefit from an unsurpassable setting within Castelfalfi as well as panoramic views of the Tuscan landscape, and are set to be resurrected as luxury homes according to owners' individual tastes. At present, we have completed the renovation of two of the 18 Casali, I Bianchi and La Valle, in order to extend the choice for those who have already decided to purchase a house and also to allow potential buyers to touch and see the possibilities offered by this type of building. A third house will be completed and available for purchase key-in-hand by October. Local craftsmanship are working on this little jewel to integrate the ancient architectural features with state-of-the-art facilities. Each farmhouse is exceptionally spacious, both inside and out. Internal areas range from 3,700 to 12,500 sqf, all with private spacious lawns. The internal layout, as well as the finishing, will be customized with our team of architects and designers. The result will be your dream home in the hearth of Tuscany, surrounded by nature but part of a full service resort offering everything from hotel, spa, restaurants, shops, pools, golf, property management, rental services and all you would wish for.In June, we will start the construction of a new village, La Collina, to extend the real estate offer with a complex of apartments and villas that will raise from the restoration of old stables. The project of La Collina has been planned and designed to bring back to life the agricultural soul of the estate thanks to a careful environmental redevelopment. Situated on the top of a hill and surrounded by the Tuscan countryside, the new Borgo will offer 27 residential units perfectly integrated within the landscape. In addition, an ancient country villa will be restored to obtain other 7 apartments. An infinity pool , tennis court, vegetable garden and common spaces will complement the village. All around stunning views towards the golf course dominated by the Castle on one side and Volterra on the other. The properties have been designed using local materials, such as terracotta roof tiles for the rooftop and autochthon trees for the greenery. All the units will become part of the beating hearth of Castelfalfi giving owners the chance to live this authentic Tuscan dream.Today Castelfalfi is the new luxury destination for those looking for an enchanting and evocative place to live, offering hospitality and good cuisine, a prestigious golf course and a variety of sports activities to practice surrounded by nature, a century-old history, a timeless landscape, culture and relaxation.FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT CAROLYN DELLI SANTI AT +39-393-646-0187 | CDELLISANTI@COLDWELLBANKER.IT
