23 - Creuse

Situated in what I can only describe as one of the most beautiful parts of France, on the borders of the departments Creuse and Indre is this stunning 14 bedroom hotel and 120 cover restaurant with absolutely spectacular views.

The hotel is situated in the heart of a busy tourist village, and currently trades for only 6 months of every year, although the potential is there to run during the winter months. The hotel is a busy restaurant and function facility with many weddings from the region being catered for at this establishment.

Entry to the restaurant is spectacular with one complete side all in glass overlooking the gorge below and the river flowing by, the land for the property goes right down to the waters edge where a pontoon is located, many of the wedding parties arrive by boat and then make there way up the winding path to the top, where a well earned drink is then served.

The property comes with all furnishings and equipment involved with the running of the business, including some spectacular hand made tables and chairs in the restaurant.

The hotel rooms have fantastic views from all rooms with the river to one side and the castle ruins to the other, the castle in the process of being renovated by the local council with a museum being built within, all the rights to sell gifts and souvenirs have been given to the hotel, this is going to be a very lucrative business in deed with many visitors each year.

The hotel also has an owner’s apartment consisting of 1 bedroom, lounge, toilet and bathroom, if more owners space was required it is possible to loose 3 letting rooms and join to this area of the hotel making a larger apartment.

This restaurant is a must to visit, and can easily be run by a couple with approx 4 other staff.
