3 bedroom Apartment For Sale: 210 WEST..

ASTOR COURT GEM Majestic and classic - a wonderful opportunity to own this stunning 7 into 6 room home at the iconic Astor Court. This masterfully crafted floorplan is truly grand with oversized rooms and 10' ceilings throughout. The heart of this apartment is the formal gallery that leads you from the entryway, bisecting the elegantly scaled living room and formal dining room and leading you back to the solitude of the bedroom wing. Lined with bookcases and plenty of wall space, your art and photographs will no doubt have a comfortable home. The suburban-sized windowed eat-in kitchen has been adapted to today's needs by cleverly incorporating the maid's room and creating a huge space with large windows and tremendous storage. The aesthetic is clean and contemporary, with high-end stainless steel appliances including a Fisher Paykel double-drawer dishwasher, Miele oven and a Miele counter stove. The kitchen is accented with granite countertops, translucent cabinets, and a full-sized washer/dryer. The living room, with a beautiful wood-burning fireplace, has the most delightful view South over the renowned Astor Court private garden, beautifully cared for with elegant seating and beautiful landscaping; one feels completely transported outside the hustle and bustle of the City. The formal dining room is also of spectacular scale, perfect for entertaining or creating a multi-use room. The bedroom wing separates the sleeping quarters from the rest of the home. Each of the three bedrooms are of extremely generous proportions with large windows. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with many original details lovingly maintained. The prewar details are intact throughout the apartment and include inlaid hardwood floors, original hardware and original crown molding. Astor Court is a highly coveted prewar co-operative built in 1915 and designed by Charles A. Platt. It has one of the most beautiful lobbies on the Upper West Side and the quiet elegance continues into the spectacular interior garden. Located near both Central and Riverside Parks, this full service building has a 24 hour doorman, resident manager, charming finished roof deck and a playroom.
