Description

The main property has a large kitchen diner(40m2) with lovely aga style oven, a fantastic sitting room(35m2)with the original ‘cœur de demoiselle' cobbled floor and fireplace with wood burner. The ground floor also offers a bedroom (16m2)and bathroom (6m2).Upstairs has a mezzanine area (6m2)above the sitting room, a small office (5m2)and two bedrooms (18m2 and 12m2)each with en-suite facilities. The entire has been lovingly restored including the roof, sanitation, electricity, plumbing, stone walls and oak doors etc. There really is nothing to do except for popping your suitcases down, pouring a ‘G and T' and enjoying the breath-taking views. Attached to the main house is a second stone property which the current owner had planned to renovate and has already had re-roofed and its facade pointed. It has the potential for conversion to a three bedroom character property with lounge andamp; kitchen. It too would enjoy the same stunning views. Attached to this property is a large barn and so the opportunities are endless. Across a tiny lane, where one car passes each day (the postman), is a large stone barn in good order, an open barn, smaller outbuilding with extra garden behind which runs down to a further garage/barn in need of renovation. The land is gently sloping which enhance the views and is on approximately 5 acres and is mainly pasture, ideal for somebody with a horse(s). Although tucked away in the most beautiful countryside, the property is only about 4 kms from the local bar/restaurant, post office, bakers and school.
