Descripción

This is a one-of-a-kind house was built by hand 20 years ago by the well-known Canadian Artist and Sculptor, John Greer. A modern home built over time with the four levels being constructed in old world European charm. Solid, insulated stone walls in a traditional, exposed foundation and post and beam structures throughout the rest of the house incorporate loft-life spaces with wooden ceilings and windows that allow for spectacular views and flowing light. The 4 acre property is surrounded by water on three sides, with a total of 1800' of shore-frontage. Seabirds abound, and the sounds of waves in the distance can be heard, as the seals howl close-by. There is deep anchorage at the outer point with a channel leading out to the open ocean. For the history buff, the property has an old foundation in the woods that is reminiscent of LaHave being the first port of entry for Champlain to settle the Americas. Fort Point was a stone's throw away. For the art lover, there are several large sculptures of John Greer and his wife, Sculptor Vanessa Paschakarnis, that are placed strategically on the property for all to enjoy.
