Description

Madcap is a well cared for 1988 Catalina 30 MKII, with all the amenities you need for fun weekends aboard and coastal cruising. The spacious salon with twin settees can convert to a double, and with the double forward berth and aft berth, can sleep 7. The galley is equipped with a propane stove with oven, a microwave and a fridge. She has a 27 HP Universal diesel to get you there when the wind is light. The roller furling genoa was new in 2016 and she has a easy to manage full batten mainsail that drops into a stack pack. The bimini and dodger were new in 2016 and the bottom was re-done in 2016. A new head was installed in 2016. Also there is air conditioning and heat for all season sailing comfort. The electronics are good with a Raymarine E7 touch chart plotter/GPS, wind and depth instruments, extra Garmin GPS chartplotter as backup, battery charger and all lights converted to LED.
