General Description
Designed as a modern weekend cruiser with Europa styling, the Storebro J-34 lives up to its design intent. The all-fiberglass planning mono-hull has a raised and raked-bow stern. Topside free-board is high forward, lowering aft. Topsides are distinguished by a canary yellow gel-coat finish with double-red boot top and a while anti-fouling bottom.

Three aluminum opening port holes are placed port and starboard within the mid-bow along a molded sheer and four clam chrome-plated ventilator caps are placed aft, leaving a lower rub rail to stern.

The hull's beam is proportionate to the vessel's length, making for a stable platform. The stern is fitted with a molded swim platform with teak landing, pull-out garaged stainless-steel swim ladder, molded fender holders, in-line anchor storage box, offset anchor mount and stainless-steel grab rails.

The underwater profile shows an easily-driven hull. The sharp spoon bow gives way to a semi-V shaped hull configuration with a good amount of dead rise. Bilge sections are single and hard-chinned and splash chines are built in place. The vessel is powered by twin inboard turbo-charged diesel engines with Hamilton Jet-Drives.

Actual Condition
Upon reviewing this vessel, you can certainly feel the luxury and craftsmanship she offers. She was commissioned as a coast guard auxiliary patrol vessel (so as you can imagine she was well-kept) and a sturdy vessel for her age. A big difference from this vessel and the limited quantity you may find in the USA is the added hardtop, as she was not originally manufactured as such.

The teak throughout the vessel will need restoration or replacement along with the hatch to entrance to the cabin. Walking through into the cabin you will notice the well-known darker mahogany wood giving the interior a sophisticated and upscale look. Let's not forget the Hamilton Jet-Drives should really make for an exciting ride. Overall, she will need a good deep cleaning and standard maintenance ... she looks like a lot of fun!
