S2 sailboats have stood the test of time due to superior workmanship and materials.  The S2 11.0 (aft cockpit) was a booming success for the company since she offered great accommodations, large cockpit, good looks, and fine sailing performance.

There are few stories of boat manufacturers that were too successful, but S2 is one.  The quality of the build of this boat was very good, good enough to coax the builder into trying his hand at powerboats.  The result was Tiara which is now one of the premier boats in its class.  Tiara was so successful that there was little room left for the production of S2 and therefore the sailboat part of the company was closed down. 

The 36 (11.0m) was one of their most popular designs.  Filled with rich teak and quality joinery work the boats were solidly built.  She is a great family summer long trip cruiser or live aboard!!!

This S2 36 is very clean and has been updated consistently over the past 12 years... The nicest one on the market. This is a classic Great Lakes boat, not all sun faded and exposed to the elements all year long like some southern examples may be. Boat used three months then stored for the winter.
