This 100 year old house was originally built by the lighthouse keeper who took care of the nearby lighthouse which is still visible today. A very simple home, which is charmingly quirky which is apparent the minute you set foot on the porch with its fig and lemon trees along with climbing grape vines. Stonehurst is one of the most beautiful little fishing communities in Nova Scotia. The same families have lived here for generation and even though the natural beauty has been a drawing card for photographers and film makers alike - the area remains unspoiled. This 4 acre property is at the very end of the road and is surrounded by 1,000 feet of ocean on one side and 250' of water on the cove side where you'll find a new wharf and dock. The gardens are numerous and a large pond with lily pads are home to many resident turtles. A new garage with upstairs loft could be used as a guest house as well. The peace and tranquility of this spot will not be found anywhere else and the views will encourage you to head out exploring in either your sailboat or kayak.
