4 bedroom House For Sale: 44450 PROCHE..

Character house from of the fifteenth century, 50m from the port, in a village at the tip of the peninsula ?Guérandaise?. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms including a large master bedroom, 2 bathrooms, shower room, 2 toilets. 70 m² attic (convertible), currently used as a games room. Patio 50 m², with trees. It could have been in the possession of a salt merchant in the heart of the Middle Ages, or of one of his sailors who formed the filibuster of the lower Bretagne until the eighteenth century. Its façade, rather sober, shows its age. Its perpendicular timber-frame structure seems to be the mark of an original design. Its structure remained intact and has not undergone any rework since the late fifteenth century or early sixteenth century, it is one of the few intact urban testimonies of that time. The lower part of granite stone (although reworked for larger window openings) presents a rare Gothic door of good quality, coupled with a rare old wooden door. Inside, there is an interior spiral staircase around a boat mast. Unique charming house, with character, probably the oldest and best restored house of this small town will seduce you with its authenticity and its proximity to the port and shops. Within 5 min walking distance from the West TGV train station, and 10km from La Baule.
