Of special note are the markets in the local towns which sell a wide range of goods, ideal presents, and foods.




Corconne is on the edge of the Cevennes which means it has easy access to and from the wide coastal belt with all its attractions. However it is also easy to escape into the tranquil hills for river swimming and other outdoor pursuits. The area is a well served by air transport. Low cost airlines fly to Montpellier and to Nîmes, both of which are about 30/40 minutes away, while there are more flights to Marseilles which is a drive of 90 minutes. The TGV high speed trains serve Nîmes and Montpellier while Eurostar offers a very popular summer service on Saturdays, non-stop from London to Avignon, which is about an hour away.
