\"Banshee\" is an excellent example of the Oceanis range of Beneteau cruising sailboats. The boat is a Beneteau 43 with the two-cabin, two-head configuration. She has the sought after 5’ 5” shoal draft keel. The Beneteau 43 is no slouch in the sailing speed department. The Beneteau 43 carries a PHRF-Lake Erie handicap of 90 seconds per mile, which is the same as a J-105 racer. Under power one can expect up to 8.5 knots at full throttle (3,200 rpm). At 2,000 rpm, one can expect up to 6.5 knots. The owner upgraded the propeller to a three-bladed feathering propeller for higher speed under sail.

\"Banshee\" benefits from a beautiful exterior and interior design that is contemporary, comfortable, and practical. The Oceanis range has been the backbone of Beneteau’s rise to become the bestselling sailboat manufacturer in the world.

\"Banshee\" has been well maintained by a knowledgeable owner. The owner has had twelve boats. It is very clean and shows minimal signs of wear. The interior woodwork and the Ultraleather cushions are attractive and in excellent condition. The engine only has 540 hours.

Forward, the V-berth cabin has walk-about room, a dressing seat, ample storage, and a private head with shower. Aft, on the starboard side, there is a cabin with a large double berth. The cabin has standing room and ample storage space. The aft cabin has its own door to the second head, which contains a separate shower stall.

The salon has a large table with seating on three sides. \"Banshee\" comes with a kit to convert the table to a large double berth. Both settees are long enough to sleep on. There is generous space for two couples, however \"Banshee\" could provide sleeping accommodations for up to seven.

There is an aft-facing chart table. The galley has a practical L-shaped layout on the port side of the companionway. The galley has a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, two-basin sink, and plentiful storage.

The headsail is a 140-percent furling genoa. The mainsail has the popular in-mast furling option. There are two primary and two secondary self-tailing two-speed winches in the cockpit. One is electric. The spacious cockpit has twin steering stations and offers easy access to the swim platform. The dodger and bimini are very attractive with extra strong stainless-steel framing.

\"Banshee\" is a comfortable and elegant performance cruiser.
