The hamlet is situated on the Nantes/Brest canal. The nearby canal towpath makes for easy walking and excellent cycling both to Josselin itself (half an hour's walk) and to nearby local villages.

Josselin, the medieval market town is a 10 minute drive, or 30 minute walk / 20 minute cycle ride along the towpath. It is a town of great character, designated a 'Petite Cité de Caractère' and Floral Town. It boasts a famous Chateau, 11th Century Church and 17th Century housing. There is a fine selection of bars, restaurants, pavement cafés and shops, and a bustling Saturday market. We think it is one of the best small towns in Brittany.
