5 Bedroom Villa with lovely extensive groundsin Tebra, Tomino, Baixo Mino. Galicia

Casa del Escultor truly lives up to its name, with the current owner's artistic touches evident throughout the property's mature and extensive grounds and exquisite and well planned accommodation. Set in a beautiful open valley, with varied panoramic views towards the Atlantic hills to the west, and the Alto Minho of Portugal to the south, the property offers a blend of privacy, comfort, convenience and nature's charms.

Built around 45 years ago in a blend of stone and white masonry, this home nestles comfortably into its surroundings, belying the spacious interior living accommodation. A covered main entrance patio leads into an impressive white marble hall and staircase with wrought iron balustrade. This in turn leads to a generously proportioned dining room and lounge, thoughtfully partitioned into two equally attractive and comfortable living areas with an open fireplace in the lounge. One passes a small bedroom and bathroom before entering a delightful fully fitted kitchen, with dining area and separate pantry.

The staircase leads to the second floor vestibule, giving access to four further bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en-suite) and a lovely light glazed gallery, currently used as an office.

All the living accommodation shares a sense of light and warmth afforded by the use of light red pine in floors and wardrobes throughout.

OUTSIDE: An automatic Portal provides access to the ground floor 4/5 car garage, central heating boiler room and bodega (cellar)

GROUNDS AND GARDENS: The established and mature grounds undulate into areas of orchards with apples, pears oranges, lemons, figs and grapes, and mature flowering tree species including Camelia, rhododendron, tulip tree, mimosa and acacia. Other levels have various mature species of chestnut, oaks and evergreen species including Cyprus, firs and cedars. A large concrete pool (4mx10m) can be filled via a natural underground water supply.
