This superb bed and breakfast is a registered business made up of 3 different houses.
The first house is the largest and it has three self-contained apartments. Two of which are one bedroom apartments and the third one has two bedrooms. Each apartment is different and has its own unique style with many details of earth elements; all houses have beautiful local granite kitchens, lots of wood through-out, high beam ceilings, large bright open spaces, unique bathrooms and large terraces.
The 2nd house is also a one bedroom house with an enormous double shower room, Bedroom with huge glass windows, open plan kitchen and sitting area with high beam wooden ceilings and large terrace.
The third house is the owner’s house this too is a one bedroom house with a huge kitchen and pantry. There is a cosy sitting area with a large glassed wall with lovely views to the back of the property. In the living room there is a large Alentejo style fireplace, a wood burner has been inserted into it for maximum heat efficiency. The master bedroom has a unique detailed arch doorway and walk-in wardrobe room, the master shower room has unique views of one of the local Castel’s, it is large enough to also accommodate a laundry area. The private house has a large covered terrace that provides shaded area for outdoor dining and relaxing and a 15x5 m2 swimming pool to cool off during the hot lazy summer days.
The reception area is a unique building made with straw encapsulated walls and a garden rooftop.
All houses are equipped with underfloor heating; solar panels provide hot water to all houses.
There is a large circular swimming pool for the guests, a running stream with crystal clear water, and obstacle course and many olive trees lined walking trails.
Not far from the Spanish border the area is visited by many tourists that come to visit the two nearby Castel’s and enjoy the many cultural events year round. Excellent motorway access to all points north south and west.
