9541 Welk View Drive Escondido..

A stately Tuscan villa situated in a gated enclave perched on a hilltop above the famed Welk Resort in Escondido. This former model home was completed in 2010, yet the abundant use of warm materials such as tumbled buff-colored bricks, stone, solid wood, wrought iron, and exterior window moldings create a sense of authentic architectural timelessness. The feeling is enhanced by the numerous patios planted with lemon trees, cypresses, palms, bougainvillea, and boxwood encircling the home. Awe-inspiring views all the way to San Clemente Island can be seen from nearly every angle of the home. The dramatic foyer with its sweeping staircase leads to a dining room surrounded by windows on three sides, a small wine cellar, a living room with a wall of dark wood custom cabinetry, and the family room open to the fully equipped chef's kitchen with its professional Thermoform gas range, pot-filler faucet and warming drawer. Beyond lies the spacious terrace, designed for either intimate dinners or large parties easily catered to by the alfresco kitchen complete with pizza oven. The master retreat upstairs features his and her walk-in closets, his and her bathrooms connected by a shower, a stone wall fireplace, and a large balcony. Also upstairs is a loft-like media room, a secluded nook with a desk, a laundry, and three other bedrooms and baths. A separate guest house 'casita' ensures privacy and an office located at the front of the house with its own entry is ideal for those who work at home. Built-in cabinets throughout the home provide ample storage and solid construction combined with ocean breezes keep the spacious rooms naturally comfortable year-round. Every bedroom includes full bathroom tub and shower. Home is abundant in hardwood floors, slate & carpet. With the purchase of this property you will receive full access to all of the amenities world class Welk View Report has to offer: multiple pools, Jacuzzi, sauna, golf course, club house, cabanas, tennis court.
