This well renovated village property is situated in the heart one of the prettiest villages in the northern Charente. The house is comprised of, on the ground floor, of a superb sitting room with a stone fireplace/log burner and a light kitchen/diner with doors out to the terrace. There is also on the ground floor a utility room, a boiler room and a WC. On the first floor there is a wide/light landing which leads off to four good sized bedrooms (one with a en-suite shower room). In addition there is a family bathroom/WC.

Outside the property there is front and side gardens which are very pretty/mature and private. There is gated access with a drive for off road parking. Attached to the house are two barns which potentially could be converted into additional habitable space if applicable. There is also another good sized stone barn set in the grounds of the garden. To the rear of the property there is a field of approx. 1220m2 (which prior has had outline building permission to build another house).

The house has been very tastefully renovated to a good standard whilst retaining the character. The property also benefits from being connected to the village mains drainage and oil central heating.

The property is located in a very pretty village which has local amenities and the property is only a few minutes from Mansle which is a very attractive market town which is located in western France, in the Charente department of the beautiful Poitou-Charentes region. Mansle is popular with tourists for its unspoiled charm and twice-weekly markets and it also lies close to the larger city of Angoulême. Mansle has numerous shops and restaurants and other amenities.

Superb property in a magnificent location!
