For a quiet night out in rural surroundings the village of Kounoupidiana is also 5 minutes drive away and has a number of tavernas as well as a baker, laundromat and a useful ATM cash machine.

Within easy walking distance there's a very good restaurant with superb panoramic views towards Chania, whilst within a few minutes drive there's a further choice of tavernas as well as a large supermarket.
