Apartment Oltrarno

In a magnificent historic building in the heart of Florence is this luxury apartment, on the Oltrarno, the chic, artisan area of Florence, a short stroll from the Duomo and elegant shopping street, Via Tournabuoni.

The property is on the second and penultimate floor of the property and is conveniently served by a lift, in addition to an elegant stairway.

The internal surface area is about 280 m2.

An elegant entrance leads to the large living room and dining area with fireplace and views on to the famous and prestigious streets of the Oltrarno of the city.

The Oltrarno area of the historical centre is on the Arno's 'left side', called by the Florentines diladdarno, literally 'over there from the Arno'. Now considered a desirable neighbourhood, it is even called Florence's Soho. The things that visually strike you about San Frediano are the wide Arno River bordering its flank and its unique landmark on the riverbank, a church called San Frediano in Cestello, whose colours blend well with the architecture of Florence but whose form is conspicuously divergent. Then there is the defensive medieval city wall with the impressive gate at San Frediano's west side.

There is an additional adjoining living room. The main living area leads to a large double bedroom suite with private bathroom and at the other end of the apartment there is a kitchen with dining area, service area, with storage and a mezzanine floor with full service. Towards the rear of the property, there are another two double bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom and an additional guest bathroom.

The rooms are spacious and well lit, with high antique wood-coffered ceilings. There are precious hardwood floors throughout that give a warm and familiar feeling.
