From the lounge you go the large roof terrace not overlooked and kitted out ready for use, you can sit sunbathing in your own private space during the day and entertain here in the evenings.

Altinkum with its Golden award winning sandy beaches are easy accessible. In the resort you will find something for every age, sun, sea, and sand. There is a good selection of bars and restaurants catering for every taste on the seafront, or go a few roads back and sample more traditional tastes of turkey. Altinkum is also host to many Turkish home owners. Up in the old town, everything is more traditional but a great alternative to the more touristy shops on the sea front, the main street caters for everything, from tee shirts, shoes, to key cutting, to small traditional butchers, patisseries, and the local bread shops, a great street to walk down and explore. The centre piece of this street is the mosque towering over the old square, sit here in the evenings and eat, with the sight and sound of the mosque behind you authentic turkey.

If you were to go the slightly to the north of the resort, you will find the ancient Temple of Apollo steeped in history, and everything around this area has been kept in keeping, roads, street lighting and there are a host of craft shops and some lovely small restaurants here, continue through to the small village of Mavisher, here there is a wonderful night market open in season where you can stroll around buying great local fresh produce, followed by a water front stroll by the Blue sea maybe stopping for your evening drinks whilst you are there. For the children in the day 1 kilometer from here you will find the water park a must in the hot summer months.
