Assistant Materials Manager

We're hiring a Assistant Materials Manager, for our multinational client.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Inventory Management

1. Material Requirement Plan (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly) & Procurement activity

2. Optimizing Inventory Level (Scope – Raw Material / Packing Material / Stores / Spares & Consumables) – Stock Ratio, No. of Days etc

2. Cost Controlling & Reduction

1. Controlling Spares Stock – Developing local vendors

2. Reduction in Purchasing Cost – Negotiate

3. Control of Packing Material stock and Increase Recyclability

4. Reduce Packing Cost by developing local vendor sources

3. New Vendor Development & Vendor Audits

4. Reporting and Documentation

1. Timely and Accurate Material MIS Reports

2. Written Documents of All Departmental Activity and Improvement

5. Improvements

1. Increasing Material Department Efficiency

2. Improving System and Data Recording

6. Proper storage planning of materials and It’s House Keeping

Profil recherché pour le poste : Assistant Materials Manager

* Education Qualification - Engineer (Mechanical, Chemical, Plastic, Polymer Technology) and M.B.A. (Operations / Materials Management) , Supply Chain Management

* Experience – 2-5 years experience in manufacturing company in Materials Management or Supply Chain Management

* English Speaking
