Although you are nestled in the countryside you are just minutes from the centre of Gourin which has all amenities. The closest beach would be on the south coast with a 50 minute drive, and the larger town of Carhaix is just 20 minutes north which has a railway station for the TGV to Paris and Brest. The airport at Brest is an hour, the ports of St Malo and Roscoff and airport at Dinard are just under two hours away.
